OVI, the Olense Vleeswaren Industrie, is a family company located in Olen. We are a renowned player within the food industry and specialise in production of high quality meals, frozen snacks, sausage rolls, conserved meats, smoked sausages, patés, artisnala croquettes and appetizers. We strive for an efficient and durable working environment, and are looking for a facility manager who can help to keep that up. 

Your duties

As a facility manager, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and pleasant working environment. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with government authorities: maintaining relationships with government agencies and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Fleet management: managing the vehicle fleet, including maintenance, insurance, and vehicle registration.
  • Legal affairs: collaborating with legal advisors and managing legal documentation and contracts.
  • Subsidies and grants: identifying opportunities for subsidies and grants and submitting applications.
  • Utility management: ensuring the supply and management of utilities such as electricity, water, and gas.
  • Contract management: drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers and service providers.
  • Facility management: overseeing buildings and premises, including maintenance, cleaning, telephony, and other facility services.

Your Ingredients:

  • A relevant degree in facility management, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to facility services
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control
